Sealed bid proposals will be received by San Juan County for construction of the SJC Monticello Salt Shed in Monticello, Utah. Proposals will be received at Chamberlin Architects, 437 Main Street, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, until 2 p.m., MDT, Tuesday, May 21st, 2013.
Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Immediately after said closing time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the presence of all interested parties.
Beginning May 1, 2013, sets of the contract documents, including plans and specifications, can be obtained at the Architect\'s office under payment of a refundable deposit in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each complete set of contract documents. Electronic documents will be made available without deposit from the Architect\'s office. Documents will be limited to 3 sets for General Contractors and 1 set for Subcontractors. Contract documents may also be examined at the San Juan County Offices in Monticello, Mountainlands Area Plan Room in Salt Lake City, Western Colorado Contractors Association in Grand Junction and McGraw-Hill Construction/ACG in Denver.
All bids must be sealed and marked in a manner prescribed in the documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive all irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in its best interest.
