5:45 p.m. - Cache Humane Society Rezone Roland Bringhurst  requesting approval for the rezone of 1.42 acres of property from the Agricultural (A10) Zone to the Commercial (C) Zone located at approximately 2370 West 200 North, west of Logan City.

FOR PURPOSES OF A BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORTH LOGAN AND THE CITY OF LOGAN

 
The North Logan City Council has adopted a resolution indicating its intent to adjust the boundary that it has in common with the City of Logan, Utah.

 
In accordance with Section 10-2-419, Utah Code Annotated, as amended, the North Logan City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the following boundary adjustments:

 
The boundary between North Logan City and Logan City, from approximately 550 West to 200 West, shall move south               approximately 1,968 feet; and from approximately 200 West to the west boundary of the Main Street right-of-way, the boundary shall move south approximately 3,280 feet.  The new boundary shall run along the north property line of property parcels:          04-079-0013 and 04-080-0021, a distance of approximately 2,421 feet, thence along the west property line of property parcel     04-080-0015, a distance of approximately 666 feet, and thence along the north property line of property parcels:  04-080-0044 and 04-080-0045, a distance of approximately 1,242 feet.

 
The boundary between North Logan City and Logan City, from approximately 1655 North to 1885 North, shall move east to the west boundary of the Main Street right-of-way.  The new boundary shall run along the frontage of the following property parcels:  04-082-0015, 04-177-0006, 04-177-0001, 04-177-0002, 04-082-0013, 04-082-0012, 04-080-0036, 04-080-0025, 04-080-0022, and 04-080-0023, a distance of approximately 1688 feet.

 
The City Council will adjust the boundaries unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the adjustment are filed by the owners of private real property that:

 
            (A) is located within the area proposed for adjustment;

            (B) covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment; and

            (C) is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private real property within the area proposed for adjustment.

 
The written protest must be filed with the North Logan City Recorder, 2076 North 1200 East, North Logan, Utah 84341 no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2013.  Written protests may also be presented to the North Logan City Council during the public hearing.

 
The public hearing will be held on June 12, 2013, not before 6:50 p.m. in the North Logan City Council Chambers, the meeting room at the North Logan Library at 475 East 2500 North, North Logan, Utah.
