Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Coalville City Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) and related offsite utility improvements including:
• Construct 0.32 million gallon per day (mgd) (average annual daily flow) Wastewater Treatment Facility. The treatment facility utilizes the Modified Ludzack-Ettinger process.  Treatment processes generally include the following: 
• Headworks Building (screening, grit removal, lift station and all in a masonry building)
• Biological Process Treatment Building (flow distribution boxes, process basins, internal recycle pump station, return activated sludge/waste activated sludge pump station, blowers, chemical feed metering station, administration area, lab area and all in a metal building)
• Secondary Clarifiers (concrete secondary clarifiers and flow distribution boxes) 
• Disinfection and Dewatering Building (UV disinfection system, reaeration system, non-potable water pump system, dewatering system, screw press and all in a metal building)
• Biosolids Holding Tank (concrete biosolids holding tank)
• Associated equipment, electrical, backup power and instrumentation
• Associated site work, yard piping, landscaping, finish grading and finish paving
• Furnish and install approximately 2190 feet of 8" gravity sewer pipe including associated manholes and appurtenances and crossing Chalk Creek.
• Furnish and install approximately 853 feet of 10" gravity sewer pipe including associated manholes and appurtenances.
• Furnish and install approximately 335 feet of 18" gravity sewer pipe including associated manholes and appurtenances.
• Extend 8" water main 160 feet.
• Widen private driveway approaching the WWTF.
• Coordinate sewer and water tie-ins and assist with commissioning of new facilities.
will be received by  Coalville City at the City offices 10 North Main Street, Coalville City, UT 84017 until 2:00 pm, (Local Time) July 16, 2013, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Coalville City has previously prequalified General Contractors and Electrical Subcontractors for the Work. Only prequalified General Contractors are allowed to submit Bids for the Work. Prequalified General Contractors are "Bidders" and "Contractors" as defined in the Contract Documents. Only prequalified electrical Subcontractors are allowed to subcontract with prequalified Bidders/Contractors. Prequalified General Contractors are only allowed to solicit prices from the prequalified electrical Subcontractors. The Work will be a single Agreement between the Owner and Successful Bidder. The E-TMP covers all unincorporated areas in the Eastern County excluding areas covered by the Snyderville Basin Transportation Master Plan such as Tollgate and Promontory. It provides an integrated plan considering existing zoning and needed transportation improvements to the year 2040.

		  <description><![CDATA[serving 2013-06-07 through 2013-06-20<br><br>Sealed proposals will be received by Summit County, at the County Engineering Office, Coalville, Utah, until 2:00 p.m., June 25, 2013 and at that time publicly opened for the Brown\'s Canyon Wall Remediation Project.
The principle items of work are approximately as follows:
Mobilization; 
Erosion Control;
Traffic Control; and
Soil Nail Wall.
The project is to be substantially complete by September 1, 2013.   Liquidated Damages will be enforced at $930 per day if the project is not substantially complete.
Proposal forms, and specifications are on file in the office of the Summit County Engineer at the Summit County Courthouse, P.O. Box 128, 60 North Main in Coalville, Utah 84017. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company on forms provided by the Surety Company; or in lieu thereof, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Summit County as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required.  The right to reject any or all bids is reserved.
